Week 8 T4 2021 Distance Learning LCS

 For the L.C.S this week we were learning about video games in the present. I have learned mroe stuff abotu e-sports and about if skate boarding should be in the Olympics. I have learned that e sports is just gaming and the e stands for electronic. 

My favourite part of this L.C.S was drawing Poppy play time with Cartooning club how to draw channel. It was really frustrating and my hand kept on hurting but I just kept going and got this master piece. I really like playing Minecraft. Whats yoru favourite game?

Innovation mini STEAM project 7

This week for the L.C.S it was related to Games and when I say games you are probably thinking video games like roblox or minecraft. The games im talking about is board games. I really like the game Monopoly so I did a little research  about that and wrote a slide about it.

I learned that board games can teach you a lesson like saving money to buy something. My favourite part about this L.C.S was creating my own board game. I created a game called Down or dare its a game mostly about dares that you do to earn points. Whats your favourite board game?

Innovation Mini Steam Project 6

 This week for the L.C.S we learned more about local transport. In maths, I learned how to solve multiplication questions easier in the maths clinic. My favorite activity was doing the Minecraft create. Although making a car didn't work as expected it was really fun to build.

I made a new type of transport called the hover prime a car that can hover at a push of a button and can also be controlled with a gaming controller. Cool right!? I made ads about it in some slides and used a website to create my car. Do you know another cool way to transport to places that aren't already thought of?

Innovation Mini Steam project 3

 This week was really fun because the topic was based on art. I learned many things about art like how graffiti can be seen as art on vandalism and could also be seen as both.

My favourite part of this L.C.S was using you tube to help me draw an emoji. I really like art do you? Can you guess what I drew?

Innovation Mini Steam project 2 Pahurehure Inlet

 This week for the L.C.S we were focusing on steam like last week. the topic for our work was about pollution and the Pahurehrue Inlet. I read a few texts showing me what people have done to help the environment and did many different activities as well.

My favourite part of this L.C.S was doing the maths. I really enjoyed solving different equations hard and easy.I have one question for you. Do you care about taking care of the environment? Do you pick up the rubbish that you find on the ground?

Innovation Mini STEAM project 1 Pahurehure Inlet

This week for the L.C.S we did a mini steam because we although we are in lock down it isn't gonna stop us from having our steam fair. This topic was about the Pahurehure inlet. We had to write some ways to improve the Pahurehure inlet. I couldn't think of much so I had to imagine one.

My favorite parts of this L.C.S was building a tree house. My original idea failed because of some technical diffeculties so i made another one I really liked it because I never really worked that hard on a tree house before with no rules in how I build it. Have you even been interested in designing a tree house? 

The Human body

For the L.C.S this week we were learning about the human body. There were many texts about a girl named Sarah who has a life as a diabetic. She has to keep up with all of the medicine and I bet its really hard to control. I jhave learned a lot aabout the different parts of the body.

My favorite activity was doing the DLO with Hayley, Nicholas and Ayushmaan. The L.C.S shares are really fun when you do it with friends. Did you know that you grow taller in the morning?

Health and Physical Education

 Here is my L.C.S for this week. The topic is about health and physical education. It was really fun since I got to work with some of my friends. I have learned how to take care of my body properly and what things I have to do to have a healthy life.

My favourite part from this L.C.S was the board game. It was fun to do it with Hayley and Nicholas. We all tried our est to do the exercises but and we struggled to do most of them. what do you know about having a healthy life  

My Balanced diet L.C.S

Here si my L.C.S for this week. I really enjoyed this weeks learning because i learned more about how to eat more healthy everyday. I have learned that you should always eat your fruits and vegetables to be a healthy growing kid . 

My favorite part of this L.C.S was doing the food pyramid. The food pyramid helps you know what food is most important to eat each day and how much to eat of it. Do you know how to eat a healthy diet?

Heros or Villains whos side are you on?

Here is my L.C.S for this week. The topic for the L.C.S was Superheros and Villains. I have learned more about different heroes and different villains I have learned that all superheros could be bad and that they all have a dark side.  

My favorite part of my work was doing the math. It wasn't really hard once I understood it and it was really fun. What is your favorite superhero or villain?

Facts about The dance Bhangra

 

On week 10 Term 2 the whole school is doing a dance from all over the world and my hub and room 9 is doing a dance from India and called Bhangra. 

The purpose of this activity was to learn more about the culture and make a poster with pictures and write a few facts to describe the pictures that we have put down. I hope you enjoy reading my work.

My piece of musical art.

Whea Tamzins ako whanou group's last art rotation was at mr Ward's. We learned stuff about music in real life. This activity was really fun and a bit frustrating at times but it was quite fun. 

This is my piece of musical art with a little help from Nicholas I was able to finish it on time. I kind of like it but I don't think you would like it.

The fairys of Kawakawa

 

The Kahikatea hub have been reading a book called the Fairies of kawakawa and decided that maybe it would me cool if we made our own fairys. So that's what we did...

Features of a Community

 

Another topic we have been doing is about Features of a Community. I have seen so many people that have contributed around NZ. It is nice to know that so many people care about our country.

Papakura Past, Present and Future.

 

This topic subject is about Papakura's Past, present and future history. I have seen and learnt about the old towns in Papakura from AGES ago. I think that in the future scientists will some how figure out deeper things and be able to create and discover more unimaginable ways to make our planet better.
