I am a year 6 student and a school leader at Papakura Central School in Auckland, NZ. My dream job is to be an engineer my dad could help my learn because he used work as a engineer. Engineering would give a lot of money so i can help my family buy stuff like food and water that we need.
That's a pretty cool job and It's great that you can ask your Dad a lot about what kind of things are engineers need to know and do.
Are you interested in how things like mechanical toys, appliances and engines run? I have a friend who studied to be an engineer and then became a builder because he wanted to build houses for everyone to live in. He told me those questions were what they asked him when he started studying.
