Crystal is a beautiful name and I loce what it means. It takes me back to a time when in class we did a slideshow about what our names meant in our identity topic. Have you ever wondered why your parents called you Leslie? I think Leslie is such a beautiful name and suits you
ReplyDeleteHey Leslie,
ReplyDeleteIt always weird to think about what other names we could have had and where names come from. I think Crystal is a great choice and he meaning is really cool. My name means God is judge which I think is a great reminder for me sometimes to stay humble and not judge others because that's for Him to do. Leslie a beautiful name too. I think you may already know this but it was interesting for me so I'll share what I found on google.
"LESLIE Transferred use of the Scottish surname taken from Lesslyn, a place-name in Aberdeenshire. The name might be derived from the Gaelic elements lios (enclosure, garden, fort) and chuilinn (a holly tree) or liath (gray): hence, "garden of hollies" or "the gray fort." - www.babynamewizard.com
"The grey fort" sounds like a cool nickname. Any-who, this was a really cool post to read and do some research keep up the great posts.
